INSTASIS is a Melbourne-based Techno collective, with a precise, impassioned vision for what Melbourne’s electronic music landscape should look like. The group’s founders - ADMINISTRATOR, DUKT, HAADA, and The Hurricane - all arose from humble and varied backgrounds, but bonded together over their singular and almost-fanatical zest for an exact sonic and aesthetic concept. Hence, since its inception, INSTASIS has already established itself as a robust local collective, with a firm grounding in events, podcasts, and radio.

 

INSTASIS’ events have focused on two elements: extended invitational back-to-back sets for Australian artists, aiming to give them the necessary time to exhibit and blend their sounds; and international headline acts, underpinned by spectacular visual artists, and a carefully curated domestic lineup.

 

Podcast wise, INSTASIS has gathered scores of mixes from global artists, big and small, again utilising devoted visual artists to complete the sensory package each podcast attempts to provide.

 

Finally, the collective has expressed its vision over radio, with two former shows, one with U.K. station Fnoob radio, and another weekly segment with KissFM, one of the most influential electronic music stations in Melbourne.
